Is there anyone who has serious advice about getting my win rate above 55%

Going with teams I found online didn't work, thinking about pokemon in terms of roles like "wallbreaker" didn't work, switching to a defensive team didn't work, and after 1157 battles you would think I would have picked up enough skill to break 1600.

The fuck am I missing?

This is a decent first step, but I think a lot of players get stuck here and end up building teams like "physical wall / special wall / mixed wall / physical sweeper / special sweeper / scarfer" because they think they need one of each arbitrary role. Think instead in terms of what your win conditions are and how you get there. For example, if you're building around Ash Greninja, you want ways to break through fat grasses, Tapu Fini, Toxapex, etc. Z-move Heatran comes to mind, since it gets in easily on the grasses and can weaken fat waters for Greninja. SD Garchomp works too, luring in fat grasses and breaking balance cores like CelePex and Zapdos+Fini that Greninja can struggle with. You might also want VoltTurn users, both to get Greninja in safely and to take advantage of its Spikes. You have options, but the point is that you should be thinking in terms of your gameplan, both in the teambuilder and in-game. Covering your opponent's threats is important, but you need your own path to victory too.
