>>38657988Long long history of Luchadores that would come in for some tours of shows. Guys like Santo, Mil Mascares, & Blue Demon would tour regularly in Japan. Was there basically at Pro Wrestling's foundation in Japan along with Americans, Russians, & the such.
There was even a fusion of sorts of Japanese & Mexican wrestling informally called "Lucharesu" as well as a unique style called "Llave".
There's still yearly shows Lucha Libre Companies do in Japan called Fantasticamania.
