It's either luck, or the fact that I love grinding.
My first shiny was a Wooper in Crystal
Then a Oddish in Ruby, then Geodude in Pearl, an Audino in Black, Froakie in X(plus all the fishing shinys you could imagine), and I got a shiny Hippowdon in Ultra Sun last week when looking for legendarys to get more Music.
It's kinda hard to track the pokerus, it usually just randomly appears on my main Pokemon.
I know atleast one of you guys also average 1000+ hours on every Pokemon game.
