I really wanted them to change a lot with this next pokemon game and we got nothing. It feels like it's going to be X and Y, just a bunch of exploring through some western region. The sprites look the same. The gameplay looks the same. The new pokemon look generic. The rumored armor mechanic is just a new gimmick and it doesn't seem as though they'll expand on anything they did previously. At this point, there's nothing they showed which gave me any confidence that this isn't just going to be

I'm not excited. I think this is the game that they're going to fuck up and the next one might actually wake them up to help them realize that they've done something wrong.
