You’ll see that if the game doesn’t want you to win, that no matter what option you pick by a certain turn, your whole team is done. If it can’t kill you on the turn it needs to, it’ll get max roll crits to ensure your death, and it will always win speed ties when it desires. Otherwise it actually just lets you win. I had to win one match by save stating like crazy, because by turn 3, it had a Pokemon that swept my team perfectly (by getting all the right accuracy rolls and shit), so I had to autistically switch and bait shit like crazy with save states, just to find the exact right path to victory. Otherwise, literally any other move I picked would cost me my entire team.
