I'm not sure myself, I don't know if we're looking south towards England (from Scotland) or if the landmass is the same relatively but for some reason London has moved to Scotland...

I live on a peninsula and was hoping it'd be here since the River Mersey is where the Titanic left from which would make for great content in the game that already has tons of ships throughout the series

Yeah true! I'm kinda bummed they've completely ditched all the southern seaside towns to seemingly expand the New Forest, but I live near enough to it that I could blag the starting town maybe.

They've taken a shit load of creative liberties kek
I'm hoping within the game itself there'll be a lot of 'fanservice' to bongs and the map just missed a lot of it out, but idk how a full view of the map can miss out all of that shit
It's a huge shame we're not getting a view of all the seaside towns since the UK is bloody known historically for naval bullshit
Otherwise I'll be bummed if there's no Liverbird legendary

Part of me feels we haven't seen the WHOLE map yet.
People have pointed out that not all 8 gyms are visible, and when Kalos was revealed they only showed part of it initially, with the rest covered in clouds.

We'll see...

I want Kalos post-game and to have wild Pokémon from previous generations to show up in the wild on a rotational basis in the same vein as how Pokémon Go works, which means we can catch nearly every Pokémon in the game with some exclusive between versions throughout the entire year.
Then I remember it's game freak and to not bother hoping for things like that.

I'd love that to happen, but I feel the majority of the world outside the euroshere sees us and the UK as one and while I'd love if we eventually got a regional rip off in the games, feel being Galar post game WAS our best shot as being included in the games (we're just too small in all areas to be considered for full region treatment I feel).
