Open a fucking pokedex and tell me all the mons add something to the game, that they add more than what gender differences would add and/or even shinies

What it would do is double the rarity of mons, because maybe not only will you want a shiny pikachu, but maybe you'll want one with a heart shaped tail, because why the fuck not?
Maybe you'd want that female machamp with high jump kick instead of dynamic punch?
Or maybe a gothithelle with magic guard instead of shadow tag as a HA?
I don't know anon, the possibilities could be literally endless
Of course right now gameplay wise nothing changed with most mons, but what if a few of them went the gallade or the froslass route?
All of a sudden it adds things to the menu doesn't it?
Again they have all the means necessary and I feel it could lead to very nice things
