primal groudon is at least slightly better... I think the yellow highlights and the black parts are a good contrast

HOWEVER. Groudon still has and always will just look way too plasticy imo. And they really went overboard with the seams

Touche and must be said; Groudon would do better for some texture, a little wear and tear, and perhaps being not quite so symmetrical... but so would a lot of Pokemon. Groudon just has 3 perfectly sized/symmetrical points stands on two legs despite having flat quadruped body, although that does vary by the render. The Primal yellow on red does look better than the black on red.
