Again, the difference is they think they don't need to put effort into Pokémon and buying this won't make a difference on that.
It can, alongside not buying Pokémon when it's terrible like I said previously, maybe change the way the company looks at success if games like that sell better though. That maybe, just maybe, if they actually put in more work instead of less, Pokémon would sell even better.
They've become content with 8 - 16 million since Pokémania faded when it could be much higher if they just kept all of the content along the way instead of dumping it and, in turn, those who liked it.
Reward them when they do a good job and not otherwise or they'll keep doing it.
