>>38686277I agree with him, Anon. at least in the context of what's generally good with Monster Collectors, because most braindeads argue "But Pokemon is so popular, so this is clearly better than their's!" which is applied to literally anything, from designs, to pacing, to story, to difficulty, the bottom line is Pokemon isn't successful because of each intricate mechanic it has, and because of it's status could never learn a thing or two from another series or improve. Pokemon is made to sell like hotcakes, and how the series functions is made to reflect that. The main difference between Pokemon and another series is Marketability.
