How do I get over the desire to play physical over emulation? I really want to replay firered but an actual copy is like $50

Why don't you just buy a chinese one for 15€. They work perfectly, and playing it on a GBA is much better than playing a fucking 240x160 game on a computer

You don't. Emulation is fucking trash unless it's on a system whose default way to play is basically the same as the original and is definitely not on PC because there are way more interesting things to do than play a game on PC when you could be doing something while just playing something else off the PC.

Especially with the Switch getting more and more meaning you're not locked to one place to do it unlike knock off PCs.
