I've never actually used Gastrodon. I'm thinking of doing a Ground monotype the next time I play Platinum. I'm picking up East Gastrodon.

prefer west btw, stands out a bit more and looks more 'natural'. Blue looks artificial or smth i dont know how to explain it

It's a good mon in competitive but I don't know about in game. It's level up movepool looks pretty bad though, and I don't think Storm Drain gave you a water immunity until gen 5 either

It's a good counter to good mons in competitive, it's not good itself, it was pu before jumping up to ou when people found out it was a good counter to the top 5 mons in the meta
