Megas could've been balanced so easily if they lasted a limited amount of turns and gave debuffs after they run out. What did you think of megas and which is your favorite?

That is a retarded idea as literally every mega evolution is worse. The problem with megas is the ideal "bad/meh pokemon being good is rare.

I think Megas mechanically were implemented well.
The only issue with them is dumb shit like Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo being completely unnecessary.

Megas were fine, except for a few.
The only balance changes they need would be to buff the weaker Megas (Audino, Abomasnow, Banette, ect.) and maybe nerfing the stronger Megas (Salamence, Kang, Gengar, ect.)

Megas are kinda ridicilous concept, and z-moves is even worse.

I feel like they really put themselves into a corner where they have to figure out a way to force a new gimmick that's going to be as strong as z-moves and megas without completely breaking the game.

Like it's just power creep and pokemon was fine without that for 5 generations.

All of you bitches keep complaining about mons getting stronger and not one of of you has a decent reason why that's a bad thing. Shut like pex and Kartana all have healthy amounts of counterplay anyway.

Besides, the only broken megas are gengar, ray, mence, and kinda p-don anyway.

The issue with Mega Pokemon is that they compete with literally other Mega Pokemon for a team slot. You end up making different choices based on your teams style and needed roles, but if the strongest Mega of that role is legal its hard to justify not using it.

It’s because all Megas not named Rayquaza all must hold an item, and Megas like Audino and Banette suffer due to their lack luster niches that other Pokemon can do better, even without an item as well.
Even without the existence of Salamence or Gengar, Audino would still be NU shit.

Also megas don't strain the tier, they just replace threats with other threats. Lati@s, scizor, Alakazam, Zard, etc. Are all dead in OU, others dropping even further from lower tiers. Other mons get used to deal with whatever megas become relevant. Power creep is nowhere near as big a boogeyman as you tools are making it out to be.
