SS is a weird case in which both an acronym(SS) and an abbreviation(SW • SH) have been used in official capacities. Either are fine, but formatting is key. No lowercase letters, include special characters and spaces if included by the source. Single versions have no acronym. They're meant to be spelled out. This only applies to cases in which the differentiation between the two versions is key. It's really simple yet people want to overcomplicate things. What's official is official with the only exception being LGPE and possibly future Let's Go games if they dare make them, just spell out single versions, and format your shit properly.
