>>38707167Not much to rip here, aside from Scorbunny having an obvious theme it would be weird to ditch in its evolutions, but Game Freak has done dumber things before. I fully expected when Fairy was first announced that the inevitable Fire rabbit starter would become Fire/Fairy for exactly this reason, but I didn't even realize the flower connection with Scorbunny until now. Game Freak really has a thing for moon rabbits too, what with the various rabbit Pokemon that are evolve with the Moon Stone, are Fairy-type, and/or have the Huge Power ability whose Japanese name is a pun alluding to the moon rabbit.
