Rhydon was way stronger than normal Rhydons

Even if it was under leveled to shit it would still not be one shot as easily. So it’s safe to say that the Rhydon was OP as fuck.

It’s almost like this series was about Red and his Charizard and their bond on the way to using Mega Evolution. Like it was a literal advertisement or something

Manga Red is better than both anyway.

Most of the other gyms show other Pokemon getting the job done, or show his other Pokemon holding their weight. Like the Elite 4 battles or against Blues non Blastoise Pokemon.

But again it’s about red and Charizard primarily.
