You clearly weren't here for X/Y hype season. It was season to ever come close to /v/'s Japan Time hype for me. But yeah, the board has existed for nearly 10 years and at least 70% of that time it's been totally shit, so i can understand the cynicism

Confirmed for newfag. /tr/ was created in late 2010. The only neat things we had back then were Wottergate and that one Snivy comic set to Lola by The Kinks. Everything else was literal porn/fetish threads and a shitton of GOT YOUR FEETS autism. Gen V /vp/ was total shit, but not as shit as Gen VII /vp/, so it gets a pass. At least there where good drawfags by then.
