Im sick to fucking death of morons complaining about difficulty, when nobody changes from Switch. Switch is basically a default Easy Mode, turn it the fuck off. You can't switch out in official games online, if you want your playthrough to feel like actual battles, then play by the actual rules.
Other things:
>EXP SHARE>Using Z-Moves or Mega's in Battles where your opponent doesnt have them>Not limiting your team to 3 Pokémon for Gym Battles>Using Potions or revives in battle (avoid status items too for real challenge)
>Stat boosting X Items (Sorry "games are easy now" fags, these are literally as broken as Z-Moves and have turned every single game since Gen 1 into "babby cant lose mode", the second you use them)
Seriously, from Gen fucking 1, the games have been easy as fuck, and throw options at you to make it so that you're playing at an advantage. All you have to do to make it challenging, is not take these OPTIONAL features. Never play at an advantage, and you will enjoy every single Gen. Some fights will be easy still, but you will find a few challenges in every single game this way, guaranteed.
