It was worth the novelty factor of playing a Pokemon game with a pokeball as a controller and as an accessory for GO. I don't like pulling "lol poorfag, it's only X amount of money" argument and I wouldn't try to argue anyone else should buy the thing because it is absolutely stupid and unnecessary, but for me on a personal level, 40 bucks (got that bundle with the game) is pretty much pocket change and I feel like I got 40 bucks of enjoyment out of it.
