There's a pattern though, aside from Pidgeot he's using most of the powerhouses. Really weird he never used an electric type, a Jolteon or Electivire like in the anime.

Well, in USUM Blue has 9 Pokemon. In addition to pic related, he can also Pidgeot, Tyrannitar, Aerodactyl and Rhyperior in the Battle Tree.
