So, its been a year since this was leaked. How does everyone feel about it now? Looking back on it, I can see why they decided to delay G/S and scrap this iteration of the game. Their original plan was a little too ambitious for a single game. But regardless, some of those unused designs are fucking great and it's a damn shame we'll never get them in any official capacity. I would love to see Honoguma's design revived as a Fire-type counterpart to Pikachu.

Side note, we still have no idea who leaked this or why it took so long. The story about an old collector dying and having his stuff sold off by his family is bullshit and was made up by someone on here as far as I can tell. The nature of the ROMs makes me think this was actually leaked by a GF/Nintendo employee who has access to this kind of stuff. Also, I don't think anyone from GF or Nintendo has yet to comment on them either besides James.
