>>38728934This is the way I see each gen's fans and of course it's subjective:
>Gen 1The ones that are not genwunners are legitimately chill people who want to have a comfy, fun time. Actual genwunners are very hostile but I rarely see them.
>Gen 2I rarely see Johtoddlers tbqh, I mean, they do pop-up in art threads but I never see them shit flinging. They're like the most efficient lurkers.
>Gen 3Absolute spammers. They may not be bad people and most of them mean well, but they still act like children and think they're being funny. Also, it's fun seeing them go all pissy if you say anything bad about gen 3, their replies are all "no u" tier.
>Gen 4Very insecure. It doesn't matter if you claim to dislike gen 4 for genuine reasons, they don't care. They'll get incredibly defensive and start insulting you as if you had kicked their mother. They screech all the time about "FUCK HGSS, FUCK UNOVA, PLATINUM WAS PEAK, COMFY, COMFY, COMFY". For some reason they've been louder than usual lately.
>Gen 5I won't lie, they're incredibly defensive as well, but one difference I see is that they tend to retaliate criticism with actual points. I rarely see Unovabortions go "no u". Still, they're very loud and tend to take it personally as well, but the screeching is nowhere near Sinnohfetuses.
>Gen 6I see them as people quick to anger but not in the "fuck you" way, but rather in a "I'm disappointed" sense, because they can't understand why others don't see what they see in their favorite games. They honestly just want to make people realize why XY is good, share the joy so they all can have fun together. I never see them involved in genwars.
>Gen 7Just like Johtoddlers I don't see them often, and when they pop-up they tend to have civilized discussions as to why they like their gen. One thing I noticed is that they tend to do this with a "holier than thou" attitude, as if "you didn't enjoy this because you're a fool" kind of way and they don't take criticism into account.
