Is there a way to nerf steel just a little bit? JUST A LITTLE BIT. I'm not screaming "IT'S SO BROKEN BAN NOW" but maybe make it not the undisputable best type.

Nah. Top tier but it isn't S tier defensively, which is what matters because you can rely on your secondary typing for offensive pressure.

Although, all they need to do is create a fast/powerful fairy/ground pokemon to make fairy on of the scariest. They will probably never do that as a result

Try again. They've already taken away its Ghost and Dark resistances, it doesn't need to be nerfed into the ground.
It's good, but not game-breaking.

What the fuck are you on about? I'm saying that steel isn't suddenly an average type just because it lost its dark and ghost resistances. I'm saying that the gaining of a new fairy resistance more than makes up for those two. Ghost isn't that relevant as an attacking type, and only knock off is relevant for dark attacks.

I never understood removing the Dark resistance. Why make Dark and Ghost so similar? Removing Psychic resistance makes more sense.

Same. Dark moves are commonly shit like biting or a literal slash, seems poor against steel. A knock off resistance would be a buff in the current metagame, but it does make more sense for psychic to do neutral.
