What if they gave male and female counterparts to the starter evolutions for Gen 8? Then nobody would have to complain about one of the starters looking too feminine.

Terrible idea, it would just needlessly split the fanbase, force resetting a lot more and ruin the "face of the generation" vibe starters have. If you don't like a starter, tough luck; pick another one or wait till the next game.
