That's right, it's another fucking Ledian thread. They won't stop until gamefreak buffs Ledian. Mods won't even ban me because they know Ledian deserves it more than anyone else.

Yeah. Some were actually somewhat meaty buffs. Raichu/dodrio arer now in a great speed tier, clefable is the OU mon it is today partially because its moonblasts hit more, masquerain got the biggest buff ever with 20 speed and sp attack, dugtrio got arena trap banned, mantine is now a viable ou wall.

Unfortunately yeah, some shit like +10 sp def to ariados or leavanny aren't going to make a difference

Boost Iron Fist to 30% boost to punching moves, multi-hit ones hit 3 times minimum... oh wait they gave it like 50 attack lmao

All it can do is literally hope it's hit by a special attack that isn't SE against it.

Unless there is a mega that completely changes everything, I'm totally fine with ledian never being a sweeper. But drastically increase its movepool/speed/sp defense and at least it can be a niche disruptor throwing out taunts and sticky webs and shit. Sticky webs don't even make that much sense on it though

yeah, something to raise its SpA. I checked and Ledian has NO way whatsoever to boost it SpA (outside of RNG with silverwind), not even a zmove that can raise it

jfc, whoever came up with those stats gotta cool it. It's an early-game Bug mon.
Here's what I propose: A slight BST increase, shifting its stats around some, and access to more moves.
This by no means doesn't make it a phenomenal Pokemon, but it is definitely better than how it stands now. No need to go overboard.

Why should that ever matter in end-game/competitive balacing? People can have fun with their story-mode teams regardless of how good or shit they are, no mon should suffer because of where it was placed in the catching order.
Talonflame started as the token pidgey of his game and got to be amazing competitively despite that. Even something like Staraptor was serviceable in the same situation.

Just because a pokemon can be caught early and is traditionally shit, doesn't mean it should be.

The changes I proposed make it completely usable in-game from beginning to end, and even makes it a valid pick for bottom-tier competitive play. It still has the stats of an early-game Bug Pokemon, but it is clearly a step above, and a good and fun pick. It's not "traditionally shit" (look at Vivillon, it has a 411 BST and is great to use), but it's not taking it a step too far, either.
That other anon wanted a 540 BST physical sweeper at level 18.

I wasn't referring to the stat changes of either of you desu. I was just talking about the notion that an early game bug mon shouldn't be capable of having high stats is silly. Where a pokemon exists in the natural flow of the story mode should have no bearing on how good or shit their stats can be.
