Hey, empty as fuck is better than a clusterfuck. At least with an empty region you can feel like you're exploring, whereas being railroaded everywhere like in Alola you don't get that feeling.

Why do I have the feeling that at the beginning you get a train ticket that takes you to a different city depending on the starter you picked.
>Grookey = Water Gym City
>Scorbunny = Grass Gym City
>Sobble = Fire Gym City
You then are set on a linear path within the loop of the three gyms where the second gym is the same type as your starter, and the third gym is the type super effective against your starter. Once all three gyms are beaten, the fourth gym is in the dragon city and Dragon type which resists all starter types

Small, all the routes will be hallways and that big field in the middle will be divided in (at least) two, with a fade-to-black loading screen inbetween. Also it'll mostly "dark grass" you can't walk on

No, fuck characters and story in Pokemon. I want to actually explore new regions and shit. I don't want to be railroaded throughout the game to deal with characters I don't give a fuck about. Story adds nothing to these games and I don't know why Game Freak is so bent on adding more when they could be making regions that are fun to go through instead.

Considering how large the first town is, I can see this being the biggest region yet. With that said, regional size does not hint at the amount of content in the game. Relatively small regions such as Johto and Unova had a lot of side areas and plenty of main quest content in their story.

There seems to be a pattern where SuMo had more postgame content than XY so we can expect SwSh to have more content then both XY and SM.
