Hello again, anon! I was worried that this thread would have never come. You and your wife did great!
I have mentioned before that I would be a Porygon2 in the real world - and I would probably do the same in the Pokemon universe as well. Technology is one of my biggest strong suits, and helping others with it would be even better.
Can't stay any longer at the moment, since I'm busy today until later in the afternoon for me. Reminder that anyone who claims to be 'Passion' ISN'T me.

hey, nice to see you again, OP! it's not something that's always been on my mind, it's more of a recent thing.

i'd like to be a Vaporeon and live a mostly solitary and private life, but i'd also like to do the occasional performance for other Pokémon (water-based tricks, that sort of stuff) in my spare time. other than that, i'd probably just traverse the oceans and forests of the Pokémon world alone, but i suppose it wouldn't hurt to bring a friend along or something.
to put it simply: this world fucking sucks, and the recent Virginia Beach shooting only reinforces that statement.
also, if i lived in the Pokémon world as a Vaporeon, just imagine all of the interesting opportunities i'd have: possessing the ability to melt into water/acid armor shenanigans, the privilege to explore the ocean as freely as possible, completely disregarding the restrictions of human biology, but also having the option to explore terra firma if i ever get tired of life at sea.

i didn't think about it too much, but my ideal moveset would probably be something like this:
- Surf
- Acid Armor
- Scald
- Toxic

the last two are for self-defense, just in case... i don't like confrontation or fighting, though, so i could probably swap one of those out for something else.
i don't have any stories to tell off the top of my head, but i did have a Pokémon-related dream last night, so maybe i'll talk about in further detail in my next post.

Abandoned by my Team Plasma abuser, I set sail to paradise in Alola, only to be nearly finished off by a horde of Spider Pokémon. The Soothe Bell I brought with me attracts the attention of an Espeon who fends them off. Her awe-inspiring beauty initiates my evolution. She takes me into her home and helps me recover. We grow increasingly attached, then proceed to rebuild her home and have Eevees together.

If I had to give myself a moveset, it'd be the following:
Foul Play: Primary attack move is a reflection of my literal and figurative dark roots.
Psychic: Utility move aids in everyday life, doing things my stubby paws and mouth can't. Also a semi-effective defensive move in itself. Taught by my wife.
Moonlight: Helps maintain the strength needed to protect my wife, Eevees and I; it's also a call to prayer, of sorts.
Detect: My strong perception skills allow me to seek out crime and avoid surprise attacks.

Vaporeon is probably in my top 5 somewhere, and it's my favorite Eeveelution so you're good in my book. Traveling the world by way of the Seas & Oceans sounds great. Turning into water at will sounds incredibly helpful too.

i'm glad you like Vaporeon too! i've always felt as if its design, concept, and execution were slightly more interesting than its counterparts.
and yeah, it is a pretty practical ability; not only can it be used to play juvenile tricks on other Pokémon, but it could prove to be useful for hunting as well!

For my talent, I would be able to use telepathy to those who are close to me and I will be able to use telekinesis to move thing around. No need for thumbs when you have psychic power. Pic related.

Basically thing look like it's better in the pokemon world. Sure there are terrorist like team rocket, but you can just defeat them in battle. There aren't war and hatred at every corner of the pokemon world, it's mostly peaceful. There is also all that bureaucratic bullshit that I won't have to care anymore.

For the move set, I will 100% have helping hand with my Umbreon wife. We will be able to boost each other if we need it. Calm mind look like a good one to, healing debuff and boosting farther is a good thing to have. The 2 other is psychic and shadow ball, I needed some attack move.

Frillish isn’t really my favorite, but I think one would be the most practical for what i’d want to do, which is almost unrestrained exploration. A ghost that lives in the ocean, can survive on land, float in the air and probably phase through surfaces? That sounds handy. I’d wander aimlessly for hours to see everything that world has to offer, like all those towns and villages, though there’s probably a negative connotation with ghosts and Frillish in particular so being spotted by someone wouldn’t be a good idea
Food’ll probably be an issue, so either staying close the shore for easy hunting or raiding fridges at night would be the plan.

I dunno Anons, the Pokémon world has a lot of end of the world scenarios gunning against it, with terrorists of varying ideologies running them. No guarantee that there’d always be someone like Ash or the Protagonists that can stop the world being cast into a new ice age, destroyed in a space/time rupture, torn apart from invaders from another dimension, etc.
Hell, USUM had shown that the villains were capable of winning and destroying their worlds before being brought into Team Rainbow Rocket via a dimension hopping

the eon species is buried deep in my heart and means a lot to me, from discovering them in Sapphire/Ruby to falling in love with the movie Latias and eventually choosing Latios as a front for myself

the freedom of flight, the softness of feathers, and the ability to simply exist as something that reflects my heart's longing

I'd stay in this world to serve, to love - the thought is I'd visit somebody privately, to inspire and comfort them in a way that human interactions couldn't - to share a bond with an intelligent creature in such a way that causes the world and society to fall away. this is one of my dreams, and it would be wondrous to share that dream with another who desperately needs to be loved

I avoided this site for a good while but threads like this keep me coming back. I know there are feely souls around here, even if they're rare

Spinda. As a berryholic Spinda, I would spend my days picking fights with anything that thinks it can consume a higher sheer volume of berry juice than me. With contrary + superpower, I'd be able to beat the ever loving shit out of almost anything standing in between me and my booze and get stronger as time goes on, all for the precious 20 HP rewards. After a long day of drinking, I'd go home to my Smeargle wife, the one thing that loves me in my pit of depression, make sure she remembers bullet seed for home defense, and pass out.

-Superpower (self explanatory)
-Assist (allows me to defend my wife by copying any of her recent sketches, ideally v-create to torch invaders)
-Hypnosis (when cornered, mere eye contact would put attackers into a deep slumber and give me an opening)
-Fling (when all else fails, throw shit)

It's good to see everyone again!

I see myself being a Decidueye, partly because it's one of my favourite Pokemon. It's also not entirely inconvenient; I'd have hands (somewhat), and with my not being a very confrontational or battle-oriented person I could use flight to fuel any adrenaline cravings rather than battle. I could never really decide on any particular occupation I would have. I don't like to settle for long, so I imagine myself living a life of constant travelling - solo, mostly, but I wouldn't mind a companion or two for part of the way. Being a ghost, it would also be incredibly neat to communicate with wandering souls, honestly, and I think it's an underrated part of Ghost types in general.

As for a moveset? I'm not sure. It would have to be mostly for utility. I wouldn't want to attack anybody if not for self-defense.

I'd love to just get away from the commotion of human life and be a water type like what PMD1 gave me, totodile. Even relationships, which a lot of people here seem to want, are just too big of a bother and would feel weird if we're both magical animals. Actually, PMD1 was a great experience and I would probably be totally okay with actually going through it.
So I decided to start learning how to lucid dream! I'm halfway there, had one or two unintentional ones but can't force it yet. Most of the dreams I have are normal.
Practical moveset? Probably bite, rage, surf, and scary face. Surf can get me places and knock out fire types, and scary face is there to ward off anything weaker than I am so I don't have to fight it.
For a story I'd have in my ideal world, it would go something like this:
Winter, 1487. It's been cold, my cold blood making the harsh blizzards nearly incapacitating. The tree cover above me provides even the smallest bit of relief from the hounding snow as in the distance I can make out a brick house thatched with hay and a light inside emanating through the two open-hole windows on the back. The sounds of a dozen or so Pokémon cries rolled down the hill as the light inside the house flickered and died. Taking a look inside there seemed to have been a struggle, but nobody was left inside, just a pile of unburnt wood and some kitchen supplies. So, I clean out the fire pit, throw in new logs, and grab a pot to stew a basculin and berry stew. As I lay by the fire warming myself up and drying my neck bandanna out, a pikipek flies in through the window and lays down next to the fire with me for the warmth. I know he's not exactly intelligent so if he strays too close to the fire I grab him and hold him for a little to keep him away from the flames.

Happy birthday! Frosslass is a lovely choice, but I'm just heavily biased toward Ghost types.

And just to explain my moveset, as I see some other people doing it as well:
-Roost (To rest my wings after flying for so long, or to otherwise heal up if I'm injured for any reason)
-Shadow Sneak (Mostly for utility. I'd imagine that being able to extend my shadow has a lot of uses.)
-Leaf Blade (For self-defense.)
-Confuse Ray (I can confuse my attacker and then make a run for it, if necessary.)

I would prefer to stay as a trainer, but if I were forced to be a Pokemon within the Pokemon Universe, I would have to go with Porygon2. The Pokedex implies that I would still be sentient and somewhat independent from what / whoever created me, leaving me to venture out in a world all by myself if I wanted to. Because Porygon2 is capable of space travel, I could create a space exploration team in hopes of understanding the universe that I would live in. I would most likely spend my days helping others in technology related issues, though.
As for the moveset,
Recover: should be obvious
Trick Room: to get away from any difficult foes who are faster than me or to mess with others
Conversion: (more literally) to transfer information from cyberspace to the outside world

The Pokemon Center would be a comfy place to work in, with little to no risk involved. I would probably work somewhere else though.
As for the wild, I would stay out of it. I would be mostly defenseless if wild Pokemon tried to attack me, but with several utilities such as Recover and Trick Room, I should be fine for the most part.

And yes, I agree that Porygon2 was very annoying to fight against in the little time that I played Gen 6 and Gen 7 competitive. Of course, I used one myself, but with a much less orthodox moveset.

I'm the Glaceon poster who wants to be a female Glaceon, either in a normal Pokemon world, or a PMD world.

In terms of a PMD world, I'd just do normal PMD things. Nothing too special there either! I'd want my partner Pokemon to be a Vulpix, if that means anything

The real world hasn't treated me very well over my life, so that's the biggest reason I'd want to live in a Pokemon world. It seems like nothing goes wrong there, that it's just full of good experiences! Also the fact that, y'know, I'd get to be my favourite Pokemon ever. You can't ever go wrong with that!

I'd want to work in a cafe with my trainer, so we can earn some money. Then, after saving up a bit, we would go out on an adventure! A very simple and comfy life for me. Oh yeah, I would also want my trainer to be my lover, too!

I can't really think of a moveset for myself.. I wouldn't really want to be a battle Pokemon! If I had to think of a move I would definitely want to have, I'd choose Attract for.. personal reasons!

I think everything here is fine as is, no matter who objects. I'm not concerned with this being a 'copycat' of the "Life With Pokemon" threads, since (I think) there are different communities there and not all of the discussion here is exclusively roleplaying.
We still have to figure out the Discord situation, though. We're all pretty split on trying it now, waiting / indifference, and not having it. Personally I don't mind either outcome but it would be a good idea as a way to easier identify ourselves as well as getting to know each other better (as Frost said, I think).

Same as most here I think, Too much drama, fighting and general BS in the real world, and just when you think you have everything in your own personal things on lockdown, life sneaks up behind you and kicks you square in the sack, and you lose everything. Not a good time.

Mirror Coat - I don't tend to pick fights, to be honest I prefer not to fight at all and avoid the stress, but I get exceptionally annoyed when others pick them with me.

Blizzard - To use in combination with Snow Cloak and Hail, in case those don't allow me to get away or if I'm just more annoyed than usual with being attacked in the first place.

I would wander in some kind of arctic climate. I would probably hunt for food by dipping a paw into the water, either with bait or a lot of patience, waiting for fish to get close enough for me to flash freeze the water to encase it in ice.
I'm not interested in relationships so I'd travel alone. I just want to be independent.
I would probably end up stopping to help other pokemon I found hurt or in trouble, even though I'd try to tell myself to walk on by. As a result I'd end up expending myself without getting anything in return. This happens in the real world too and while not "ideal", I can't see myself being that much different in the pokemon world.

since most of you guys have already explained the purpose(s) of each move within your movesets, i think it's time i do the same.

Surf: general, all-purpose move; great for efficient swimming, and it serves as a decent attack in battles as well.
Acid Armor: i think this one is self-explanatory, if i'm gonna be honest.
Scald: this one's for self-defense. it's not much, since i don't really like to fight, but at least it comes with a 30% chance of burning your target!
Protect: to shield myself from physical harm; i have a hard time dealing with pain.

The transformative abilities that come with the species choice are all I need.

Human reliance on tools to do our work and the evolutive process adapting to our lifestyle has left us with boring weak bodies that compared to the amazing things even other animals of our world can do can only be described as unremarkable and mediocre. Daily life is also a slog with having to work and all so it's a mixed bag of wanting to be a physiologically better being, having a more exciting life and having more freedom at my disposal.

Transform, Psychic, Teleport, Aura Sphere
Self explanatory, Psychic is broken in a real life scenario, Teleport for ease of transport/combat mobility and Sphere to hit resistances
PMD like setting sounds like the best choice, a world colonized by humans again would have less to explore and that's boring. Overall I'd just transform into everything I see that interests me and explore as much as possible. I've always found actual physical flight fascinating so finding some bird pokemon to transform into would be the first order of business. But planning everything out is boring and I'm not one to stick to plans anyway so might as well leave it at that.

Probably either finding food or shelter. I might not have the patience to wait to freeze fish so I might have to dream up something else. Shelter I would probably dig a hole in a snow bank and pile up more snow in front of it, hiding the hole from a head on view but leaving me room to escape in either direction, maybe even dig an escape hole in the back.

Independence plain and simple. Even if it gets tough, being able to survive on my own without the restrictions of money and interpersonal politics would be the greatest freedom. Even in the real world, I feel the best when I'm able to take the initiative to say, walk away from a situation, or even volunteer to work on a holiday so I have a good excuse to not attend "social gathering norms".

Spontaneously appear. I would want to keep all the knowledge I already have to survive. if I were to stay in this world, the biggest issue would be hiding from the public eye (easy with flight and cloaking), only revealing myself to those who I could impact greatly - perhaps a direct translation of Latis' role in the movie, there's something touching about letting others into your secret world

if I were to swap to a pokeworld, the biggest issue would be finding my place in that new society, and learning who and where I could serve best - I know how I can use a Latios form in this world, but a new world would surely have its learning period

#2, love is most important, whether that means finding a Latias (or in this world, a Latias-at-heart) or continuing my existence alone to care for others; I'm simply overflowing and need to express it

#3, opt to retain memories; if I never remembered my pain, then I wouldn't be as thankful for my new life

Biological differences probably. Learning how to do the water-bending, finding out what foods make me sick, learning how to waddle, that kind of thing.

i kinda answered this one in the last thread, but your questions are fun and important, so i'll go ahead and work this one out. to be honest, i wouldn't mind a do-over... but i think i'd much rather just spontaneously appear in the Pokémon world with all of the knowledge i've attained in our world. that way, i'd have the common sense to guarantee a higher chance of surviving without food or shelter for a while. i'm sure it would still take some time to get used to walking on all fours and stuff, though. also, the first decade or so of life feels annoyingly slow, and kids are stupid so i don't want to be one again. i'll admit, though, becoming a Pokémon seemingly out of the blue would probably be a quite the mindfuck at first. overall, i'd be much happier, though, so it's not a big deal.

I've noticed a pattern that many of us would prefer to live in solitude, ideally with a partner of sorts. I would probably be the only one who would actively seek to help others out as a Porygon2, since - what else would I do?

Ah yes, the Discord situation. My sincere apologies for bringing it up if it really is this much of a concern. I didn't intend on derailing the thread so I'll stop bringing up the issue.
I'm really on the fence about it if I'm being honest, since both sides of the argument make really good points, coupled with the fact that the only form of online interaction I ever had was from 4chan and Steam, never from any kind of chatroom. If it doesn't happen, it wouldn't be end of the world nor the end of these amazing threads.
When it comes down to it, the Discord would be made because of the fear of the possibility that these discussions would abruptly end. But hey, this is an anonymous image board, and identifying each other is one of the lowest priorities for a great discussion such as this so long as outsiders don't come to shit post.

Well, I got sassy from PMD1, but I could also see myself as a quiet or a naive.

Cafes are extremely comfy in my eyes, and I don't really want to be a battle Pokemon. I just want to live a relaxing life with my trainer, while going on adventures. A cafe would be a decent and relaxing way to make money in the meantime! That's pretty much it

Yeah, probably Lonely for nature, it even makes sense from a stat spread point since even though I'm better at planning (even attacks, which would make special my specialty), I tend to just get mad and punch shit. I'm also pretty small so I get the feeling I wouldn't have much stamina to take blows in an actual fight either.
Characteristic - either Quick tempered or Thoroughly cunning.
Ability I already listed - Snow Cloak.

Probably none, at least not for long periods of time. I could see myself picking up a travel companion by some means once every so often, but people tend to come and go from my life quickly, so I couldn't see me or them sticking around long. Overall I'd prefer solitude anyway. My only regret would be leaving my one best friend that I've kept close contact with for over 13 years now. He told me he would be an Eevee, so if he were to come to my new world he would either freeze to death or evolve into another Glaceon. Him, I would miss dearly.

Assuming I was a Zoroark I'd have that transformation/illusion ability, so I'll answer this as a human.
Obviously, and unfortunately, we don't really get magic powers of the sort, but that doesn't mean I can't have talents/skills!
My main concerns would be keeping myself fit enough to travel and making sure I have enough of an understanding of Pokemon to care for mine adequately. Thankfully I'm a decent enough cook, so I think I have that area under wraps

Really, I'd be fine with either our world or the Pokemon universe.
If I went with the Pokemon world, it's because Pokemon are already integrated much more thoroughly into society, whereas I could see many typical aspects of Pokemon being left out in our own. No Pokemon centers or Pokemon league, for instance!

>Give yourself a practical moveset
This one's tough, but I'll give it a go
Flamethrower - Good utility move in general, you basically become a lighter. Never know when you'll need flames, and makes for a good attack too
Protect - The all-in-one go-to protection move! Great keeping out of harm's way, or at least making sure harm's way can't hurt you
Double team - Being harder to hit never hurt anyone, right?
Rest - This is the only recovery move I can think of that Zoroark can learn, so it's a bit of a gimmie

probably quiet and often lost in thought. i know i seem somewhat talkative in these threads, but i'm quite the opposite in one-on-one interactions! as for my ability, i could see myself benefiting from Water Absorb. like i said earlier, i don't really find physical confrontations desirable in any way, so if, for whatever reason, i were to be hit with a Water-type move, it'd do nothing but heal me (or have no effect on me if i hadn't been attacked prior)! i'm pretty fond of history, ancient artifacts, and that kind of stuff, so if i were to have any friends it'd have to be an Excadrill. good for digging up hidden, rare things, which i probably wouldn't be able to do as sufficiently. plus, Excadrill is one of my favorite Ground-types, so what's not to like? also, don't misunderstand, i don't derive pleasure from using people for personal gain or anything. there are treasures to be found underwater, you know! he'd just do all of the on-land work.

I can't speak for OP, but for me, a big part of it is only being able to survive by fitting into social constructs. You need money, you need to be "normal", have certain opinions, act certain ways. There's not a lot of wiggle room to break away from that and do your own thing unless maybe you're some kind of visionary. There's a lot of monetary and social pressure and if you don't or can't abide by that, you're shunned and doomed to living a garbage life.
I'm sure it's a little different for everyone though.

Drawing the lighting first meant that I basically "bucket filled" an outline with a dark colour and then cut away at the dark with a lighter colour (usually I do the opposite!). I guess it was mostly a psychological thing but it made me lean more toward dramatic lighting, and I felt comfortable not having to actually outline the drawing with the ink pen. I've always wanted to do more of a painted style but I've never been too good at it for relying on lines.

Pic related is a work in progress, but it's more like my usual style! More flat shading, etc.

I feel like working from the darker base and building up value ended up giving that particular drawing a very light tone - the other three feel in a sense somber and mysterious, whereas I feel a sort of magical, fairytale sense of wonderment from the vaporeon drawing! It's definitely worth using that more, I think it really fits with the general mood you're trying to go for, but I also feel that the darker tone implied in the other images is an equally useful tool and worth continuing using where appropriate!

How does peaceful adventure sound? Like the story excerpt I posted much earlier, most of the action happens by other people to other people and I'd walk by a while later. I might run a few rescue missions in the less hardcore places like Tiny Woods but for the most part it's passive observation.

I when I wake up, I would do breakfast for me and my wife, except if the human which we follow give us some food. We would then explore during the whole day, maybe stop by a river or waterfall to do a picnic. At night, I would sleep while cuddling tightly with my Umbreon.

Hard question. I don't really have anything in mind right now. I would say a dog tag with my name written on it maybe. It could serve as an identification and also make me remember my time as a human being.

Thanks for also asking questions, anon! I have pretty much ran out so anything to keep the thread going is great.
While I am more of a rural person, I as a Porygon2 would prefer to live in the suburbs or something like Celadon City. Any center of technology would be the ideal place for me to help out others.
I don't think that I would get into any squabbles with Pokemon at all, unless if they were predisposed to violence and they catch me off guard. As described in >>38742936, I would likely get away with outrunning the Pokemon, using Trick Room and Recover first if necessary.

a peaceful life, definitely. i wouldn't be one to frequently partake in social interaction or anything; i'd mostly just try to stay withdrawn, keep myself alive as best as well as my abilities will allow me to, and enjoy the comfort of my cave. additionally, possessing the means to explore the ocean without having to take into consideration the limitations of human biology is certainly a nice advantage that comes with being a Water-type Pokémon, but i've said enough about that already. of course, because i would have the remarkable privilege to wander the oceans AND lands of the Pokémon world, i'd explore everywhere i can whenever that sort of lifestyle beckons me, but i don't want to refer it as 'adventuring', for i feel as if that word has too many, er... grandiose implications. it's not like i want to be a fucking PMD protagonist or something, y'know?

It's so hard to decide. The sea is so relaxing and comfy, and I couldn't even begin to imagine the beauty of it in the middle of a thunderstorm. Then again, I wouldn't stay in one place for long and a beach isn't really the ideal habitat of a Decidueye either. I'd love a secluded deciduous forest, though, if I were made to choose a place that I both enjoy atmosphere-wise and would make sense species-wise.

I hope not. I don't see myself as an authority figure, but I'd watch out for the little ones in the forest or help out any lost or injured Pokemon that happen to wander in. I'd want to be the type of Pokemon others can turn to if they need help. Maybe not with fighting, though.

Not much. I highly value time to myself, but I wouldn't put myself in such a way that others would be scared to approach me. At the end of my adventure, I would settle down deep in the forest with my wife. Enjoying raising some Eevee's and having old friends coming by for some visit from time to time. Being right beside a good fireplace while there is a blizzard outside during winter and having a fresh breeze of wind during summer. Seeing the colorful flowers of spring and the multitude of trees preparing for winter during the autumn.

Not at all. I won't look for trouble and I hope they do the same. All these adventures would make me a high level pokemon with my wife, so I do think other pokemon around will be as respectful as we would be to them. They are free to come by a visit and I will help them if they are in need.

I would always be around my wife and Eevee's, but I do enjoy having some visit. It would be a mix of both. There is definitely peace to be found in adventure, right? Either way, I'd travel but not on a strict schedule, and I'd have the freedom to stay in any one location for as short as a day or as long as several months if I really felt like it. I don't see myself getting too attached to anyone or any place. I feel it would be less stressful for me to just Irish exit and disappear into wherever the wind takes me next. Maybe it's oddly specific, but I can best see my take-off and arrival times being in the dead of night. There's such tranquil loneliness to the world at that time, and there would be no noise or other Pokemon to separate me from it.

I'd like to say something of sentimental value, but I can't think of anything that could be embodied by having a physical form. Everything else, if any at all, would just be practical things to have on me during my travels. And even then I imagine I'd be travelling light to ease the stress on my wings. All that being said, I guess I small first-aid kit to help someone I happen along or to heal myself if I can't Roost it off.

i'd like to live in a cave in proximity to a large, secluded body of water and hoard a fuck-load of gems, evolutionary stones, and other neat, shiny things found during my travels.

if you're asking if i'd have any adversaries in the Pokémon world, then i'll say it again, even though i've likely rendered this statement redundant at this point: i do not wish to harm others, but if i have to, i'll protect myself by any means necessary. in retrospect, Scald probably isn't the best move for self-defense; i could've picked something much stronger, but after all, it is nice to have some restrictions. i suppose when fighting i'd simply have to rely on the small chance that my combatant sustains a burn in between Protect spam.

infrequently. i think it's fine to have close friends, but i value my privacy and time spent apart from others. i enjoy the extensive (from my experience, at least) periods of self-reflection and clarity that follow isolation.

This might sound weird coming from a water type but I just don't like the beach all that much. Sand is coarse, rough, and it gets everywhere. I like mountainous areas more, and especially snowy ones. I'd love to live (in either the Pokémon world or in real life) in a cabin on the side of a snowy forested mountain.

Probably. Everyone is different! I don't have to be friends with everyone, as long as they treat me with respect equal to what I treat them with. If I really can't get along with someone and I can't talk them into understanding me, I'd just move on and get out of their hair, them getting out of my... scales. I guess that saying doesn't really work.

Definitely the latter. It's one of my main draws to being a Pokémon, the fact that I don't have to really do anything if I don't want to and that includes interact with others. Don't get me wrong, I like people and can get lonely, but a lot of the time it gets to be too much.

This morning I for a few minutes genuinely considered suicide, so if I'm ready now having even a year of good times would be all I need. Thankfully, I have kinda. Snow is rare around where I live unfortunately, I used to see a bunch of it but I moved a long time ago and miss the place dearly still. I was taught a long time ago how to start a fire with absolutely nothing, how to tie ropes, all that stuff.

likely fish Pokémon, assuming Pokémon eat meat. which, let's be honest: even though the anime and games don't depict it for valid reasons, you just know, realistically, they would.
meat isn't something i heavily incorporate into my current diet, but i don't think i'd have a hard time adapting to it.

I really like meat, but I don't think I will hurt other pokemon to get some. I would kill some magikarp while fishing, but nothing more. I think I will adopt a berry and bakery diet so I won't have to kill other pokemon.

I will probably have learned some trick while following the human around on how to survive multiple seasons. Lucky me, I have experience with winter, but not outdoor survival. Other wild pokemon might help us, who know.

I would tell it to some pokemon who are extremely close to me. Keeping it a secret, I wouldn't want everyone to know that I was a human. I don't know how they would react, so it's better to keep this information hidden.

Like the other anon said, I'm sure we've all been in that situation before, but all for different reasons that it would be difficult to understand since it's almost always too personal. I came close to ending it back in 10th grade since I felt I had nothing left, but I like to think that there's always something out there for you even during the darkest times, you just have to persevere.
My brother has been through similar episodes, and it just ruins the whole week for me when he gets into a meltdown (just happened today, in fact). We have both tried to seek professional help with little to no success.

I think a lot about what will end up happening at the end of the road. I don't think anyone even could know how it'll all end, but they can at least influence how they're handled after it all. The PMD world has a kind of harmony to it since it's almost medieval in a way with how close knit and tiny its settlements are. Everyone in town knows everyone else for the most part. That's why I set mine in the 15th century, since it had that vibe to it of a bunch of peasants who teamed up together and founded a town on the request of a king.

Thankfully, the target world is a very diverse place. Meeting a strange magic-wielding creature nobody has heard of before isn't that uncommon.
As long as I don't fuck up, fitting in shouldn't be too hard. The social moveset and looking cute and non-threatening would certainly help with that.

But yeah, PMD does call back to the medieval ages, or at least a romanticized ideal of the medieval ages! Makes sense why you'd set things in the 15th century
As for thinking of the end, well... not really, I'm normally more concerned with the present and near future, and sometimes the past.
Thinking about what I'd like done for when I pass, I'd want all of my body that could still be donated to be donated, and anything else? Maybe it could be used to grow an apple tree, something cozy like that; I've always had an affinity for apple trees. My one last way to try and make a positive impact on the world, however small and perhaps meaningless in the greater scheme.

I'd probably be a Cyndaquil. I have no idea why: I always told myself that I would like to fly. I am a free spirit, and there's nothing I'd love more than exploring the world and feeling the cool breeze of freedom. So, I was sure I'd be a flying type pokémon. However, since I got Cyndaquil in my PMD quiz, I've been thinking about becoming that pokémon.
I am quite a chill person, and while I am a free spirit, I also love the peace and quiet, and being the shy pokémon Cyndaquil feels like it fits me best. Settle down in a little forest, explore around a bit, chill near a mountain lake as a little rat.

So, basically, I'd *want* to be a flying-type, probably a Murkrow or a Wingull, but what *fits* me best as a person is a Cyndaquil.

For a moveset, it would probably be something like Ember and Protect. I'm not into fights at all.

Another option would be Bulbasaur: live in a forest, chill by myself etc. But for some reason, I think Cyndaquil fits me best.

I'd eat fish, preferably, but I'm not sure how I could manage if I had to kill a sentient, intelligent Pokemon. At least I could make sure the death is quick and painless. I don't think I'd prey on small forest Pokemon (Rattata, Zigzagoon, etc.) because those are the ones I'd want to protect. Pokemon in PMD seem to live off a diet of berries completely fine, so I'm sure I could too.

I think the only season that would pose a threat is winter, given my dietary choices. Berries might be freeze-shocked or would otherwise be highly contested over by other hungry, cold Pokemon. And if it's cold enough, bodies of water could freeze and cut off my access to fish. I could just avoid cold regions during my travels, but I hate the idea of restricting myself like that. I suppose I could prepare for the especially cold areas by bringing several rations of dried berries and salt-preserved fish to last a couple of days. For the summer, well, there's not much to worry about except the staunching heat.

I'd guess that most Lucarios already have that unyielding spirit of never wanting to give up on something or what they stand for, same goes for having a naturally very strong sense of direction and their surroundings. I think the one thing that isn't associated with them usually, is having great knowledge of history, but that's probably something that would take a backseat here.

For me, it isn't as urgent as other Anons, life's still good, but it's just fun to fantasise and write about stuff like this, especially with others. The world is odd enough as it is already. Maybe one 'real' reason could be that there isn't anything truly left to explore on this world, space travel might be in one-two decades or never, depending what path this world takes. If the latter, we're really, really in for a crapsack future. So having a world with places still left to explore seems rather appealing to me. Bone Rush - Because having some sort of weapon while exploring would be good enough to defend yourself. That, and a throwback to the Cubone MC I had in the first PMD.
Dark Pulse - Better to have something to let your darkest thoughts out than not. That, and it covers those things you otherwise wouldn't be able to hit. Nothing worse than being utterly defenceless to something willing to actively hurt you.
Aura Sphere - Obvious one. Who in their right mind would pass this one up if you get the opportunity for it?
Calm Mind / Nasty Plot - Since taking time to recollect your thoughts is always a good thing. The latter would be more suited to fighting though.

Me, if I had to choose a name for my Umbreon wife, it would be Nebula. Her dark black fur look like the space void while her yellow markings glow during the night like the ionized gas. Her beautiful crimson eye shining through the darkness. All of it make me think of a dazzling nebula cloud in space, a hidden gem in the vast ocean of nothingness.

Uh. I don't think I would mind mind either way. But having a nice trainer carrying me around would let me see nice sights in the region. I would probably get myself almost hurt plenty of times walking near dangerous places.

I will surely go to Alola island. Surfing on the waves, visiting iconic landmarks, eating new foods and talking to different variations of pokemon who are only found in Alola. Relaxing on a beach during night time, having the waves wash our pawns.

I thought about this for a while and I was caught up between Gentle and Careful, but ultimately I think the latter suits me more. I'm not bold or confident enough, I don't think, and I feel that Careful accurately represents that. More cautious by my own insecurities than by anything else. Timid might work too but put that way it makes it sound as if that's the core of my personality, which I disagree with.

As for characteristic, either "Highly curious" or "Often lost in thought" - both are fitting. My travelling lifestyle would be fueled primarily by curiosity and the need for self-reflection. I don't think I perform well in front of others, so being on my own, it's easier to bring out my full potential.

Neither of Decidueye's abilities are very practical outside of battle, but for that off-chance I'll say Long Reach.

Friends that I can be comfortable and quiet around, and friends that aren't hurt by my need for privacy. I wouldn't call myself closed off, though, and I can imagine myself keeping in contact with a few close friends throughout my journeys. I also wouldn't want a friend, or any Pokemon, to be afraid to ask me for help if they need it. I may not be of much use but if I can lend a shoulder for someone to cry on, or lend an ear, I absolutely will.

I don't think I'd be able to raise offspring and maintain a life of wandering at the same time. It might be fulfilling for other Pokemon, but I know it would just stress me out tremendously. For the sake of my mental health (and the quality of life of my offspring), I'd definitely not.

Good question, but probably not for me. Frankly, I'm not even really sure if that would... work, so to speak, on a biological level
Although, even if it did I wouldn't want the responsibility of raising a child; I'd have to give up my own dreams to start caring for them, since I couldn't possibly put a proper amount of time into both.
Perhaps it might be something I'd consider more down the road

Eventually I might pop out an egg or two. That would be nice. But that's stuff I'd put off for years and years, assuming the typical totodile lifespan is about 80-110 I could hopefully get away with at least 20 of those being "wasted" so to speak.

I put a lot of thought into this, and I decided- Jirachi.

Now although I despise the idea of putting my very average self into a legendary pokemon, here me out. I'm a fucking lazy person. I don't have a lot of dreams of exploration like other people here either. And unfortunately, I find myself most content when I am in my dreams, as I am a very lucid dreamer and get to play out lots of worlds/scenarios while I'm sleeping. It got so frequent I now have a journal to remember them all. Also in terms of legendaries, Jirachi is one of the LAST ones most people would want to be.

Here we analyze the drawbacks-

1- You're stuck in a mostly paralyzed state for large amounts of time. Making friends and having close connections with people is nearly impossible, everyone you love or grow fond of will be dead the next time you wake up. You have to witness the uncontrollable passage of time wrecking havoc on the world around you in the split second of a week, and there will never be stability in your life.
2- People shall hunt you down and try to capture you for selfish wishes, torturing you if they must. These are the most malicious of wishes they've had time to plan over, which could lead to your demise and the demise of everyone else. Almost everyone will see you as only something to fulfill what they want, for how could anyone possibly become attached to someone that's only awake for a week? Its near impossible not to be in a selfish mindset.
3- You're genderless and reproduction is impossible. This isn't a fetish thing. This is just the facts, as some people find having children and families an obvious benefit. But you're a Jirachi. No one will ever be able to comprehend and truly empathize with your life, that's how it is as the wish maker.

Now with all these drawbacks and constant despair, how could you possibly want to be a Jirachi? This is where things get tricky. (1/3)

(2/3) Well like I said it fits with my personality. But really all I want is the ability to make a few choice people immortal and bring life to their own dreams. Lazily shape the world and leave a lasting impact every time that week comes around while remaining immortal myself, so that I can witness the universe constantly altering in front of my closed eyes. However, I'm not a sadist, so lets work around some of these godawful drawbacks.

Moveset-
>Sleep Talk
>Future Sight
>Double Team
>Snore

This is where things become less solidified and more conceptual. Lets assume for balance issues that we cannot grant wishes to keep ourselves awake. The goal is to find at least 1 trusted companion which we make immortal, and now when we go to sleep we can use Sleep Talk. We can continue to communicate like this, and although we're still completely paralyzed and unable to enjoy almost all of what normal people can in exchange for these incredible powers, talking will allow us to form bonds and discuss further necessary wishes for the next week. Also in the dex it says if we're attacked, we can fight without awakening and protect them with Snore.

Future Sight however is there to allow us to literally see into the future and make attacks or plans of action ahead of time, further protecting from the listed threats you and your companion will be dealing with for the next 1000 years. We're going to be fucking prepared. Earthquakes? Meteors? Even possible betrayals for selfish wishes? Not happening, fuckers.

Finally we have Double Team. To be honest, I don't know if it counts, but lets imagine you can use Double Team to make an illusionary copy of your image. Get that image, which isn't technically you, to wish itself into a real Jirachi. Now wish that Jirachi to be identical to yourself but without your sleeping limitations. Boom. You've played by the rules and yet destroyed everything.

(3/3) Anyways, this is just my fantasy. Making other people's dreams come true and making my friends live longer is all I need, but immortality is necessary. We worry about every little thing in life and rarely think about the bigger picture until we're in our final moments. I suppose I didn't need to make a third part for this, but these are my final feelings. So hopefully this concept entertains someone, I just wish it could be more than merely an idea.

Of course I would have some Eevee! Now, i don't really know how to raise them. Maybe I'll show them some secret place that i found while exploring. I will surely play with them around the cabin, show them how to defend themselves and tell them to always protect the week if they find some pokemon in danger. I think I'd probably drop by Alola, maybe Unova.
I'd probably head to the island kahunas and attempt to challenge them, plus drop by and visit some of the anons here since a number of them seem to want to live in the region, iirc
It'd be nice to catch up after all my time in other regions!
Plus, it's where my partner would most likely hail from, and who doesn't love the idea of a trip back home for an island vacation? Fun in the sun, and all of that

I do not want to be selfish, but immortality for me and my wife is what I would like to receive. It could be straight up immortal or more of a vampire like type of immortality. If it come true, I will wisely answer those who come by a visit to my cabin. Also, with great power come great responsibility. I will protect the world from evil team from doing there malicious plan with my wife. We won't let them destroy everything. If my you can't give the gift of endless time to both of us, I suppose I will ask that the pokemon world remain at peace, no more evil doers who try to totally obliterate the world and it's harmony.

A couple of drawfriends in this thread really tempt me to pick up the paper and pencil and start over again. Stopped after HS. 3 years on, I could've been one myself now. I was *okay*. Some day...
If these threads continue for months or years on, I may draw a "group photo" or collage to keep these memories alive. I'm even making a list, screencapping, all the necessary preparations.

Berry planting would be a relaxing thing to do on the side. I could plant berries everywhere I travel, and return every couple of years to the seed locations to hopefully see them as fully cultivated plants. It'd just be a neat way to see places change over time, and it would help the Pokemon in the region.

Definitely. My main hobby is motorcycle racing, and there are no bikes in the PMD world - at least none that Pokemon could use. And a Decidueye on a motorcycle would be a bit silly either way. But one of the reasons I chose Decidueye is because I imagine that flying could give me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

I might still be able to draw, but the matter of whether Decidueye has opposable thumb-feathers is up in the air. I might be able to use my talons, though.

i can't be certain, but i feel like it wouldn't be too difficult to produce toroidal bubbles or very half-assedly porpoise as a Vaporeon, which ties in with the performing stuff i mentioned earlier. i'd lose the ability to play the instruments that i'm currently able to, but i don't think i mind that too much.

if exploring counts as a hobby in any way, then i'd gain the ability to do that in more ways than one - as i've said before, it's easier when you aren't limited by the physical traits of human beings.

Tripcode means a word you type after your name such as "Man#definitelyhuman" that becomes encrypted so for example that would appear as "Man!mrsvbq15KU". It's reliable with each word and if you don't tell anyone your tripcode like I did earlier in the thread it'll remain unique to you.

If I have a partner, that's about as much help as I could reasonably expect to have. If others are nice and help me out that would be great but I wouldn't expect any.

Try to find somewhere similar, but if not, see if Johto had anything to offer. There has to be a reason totodile are more common there than anywhere else.

Big old brutes that have anger issues, bugs in general (except spiders, scyther and beedrill, they're good in my book). I might get a little awkward around cyndaquil since one was my partner in MD1 so it would be a trip to be what I was in that game and be talking to a member of my partner's species. Also electric types with anything resembling a temper.

good question. i don't really know. you never know who you can and cannot trust. i imagine i'd have to take matters into my own hands, but i think that viewpoint probably stems from my trust issues.

i'd have to find somewhere similar to where i lived before. i'm not fond of change, which is ironic considering that i'd love to explore so many different places. i suppose when i say i don't like change i mean it in the sense that i don't like it if it has something to do with my personal life? i don't know. i'm not good at expressing my emotions, even though i feel a little more in touch with them than i used to. hopefully you understand.

i doubt it. but if i had to choose, probably big bulky Grass-types. i'd be defenseless against them. it's likely that i'd have to consider learning Ice Beam at some point, just in case i need to fend them off.

Yep, that's what I'd be aiming for. Being able to tap into the resources of Aether Foundation could make lots of tasks trivial that would otherwise be a dangerous adventure.

Definitely something similar, unless I see a better opportunity like befriending a community of pokemon with better access to what I need.

Those that are either naturally very observant or have supernatural senses like mind-reading, for obvious reasons. That's why I'd prefer to live and work with humans.

I have a lot of hobbies, the one that I dedicate most time to being reading. All of them would be accessible to me — but I'd probably focus on getting the job done much more. As I live now I work about 5 days per month so a lot of free time, that wouldn't be the case.
