Things that are bad for them might be good for you and viceversa, and that doesn't make it any less valid. If they dislike it I can assure it isn't just to be a contrarian or to shitpost, people can dislike things for their own personal reasons, you know? People perceive things in a different way than you do, so dismissing them and assuming it's all a mere attempt to bait/be a contrarian and calling it a day is pretty stupid.
