You see it's previous forms where based on sea otters and when you look at them, you can tell they're related via evolution, this is true from most starters but jump from Dewott to Samurott is pretty big for a few reasons.
>Turns from a sea otter to a sea lion without any hints that it would go in that direction>It's suppose to use it's word but due to it being on all fours, it's hard for some people to see it doing that>In the anime when it does use it's sword, it looks weird as fuck >>38748965>And I think the main reason why some people dislike it's design is because it was leaked along side Emboar who many dislike due to it being another fire/fighting type when it really should have been fire/darkI hope this gives some insight into why some people don't like Samurott, personally I love it but if I had to change it, I would made so that it's part fighting giving the Emboar part dark typing and make it so that it's always standing on it's legs.
