The babies that evolve via level are fine. They can be placed earlier in the game than their evolved forms, and don't require friendship grinding. The friendship evo and incense ones are pointless.

Pichu is fun in Smash Ultimate, almost 20 years later since its debut. So its worth it. Pichu > Pikachu. I still say every pokemon should have more value but the main games are unbalanced .

Something fighting type would be the obvious choice. Or fighting + ground which has never been done before.
