I fucking wish. I was like 10 levels over-leveled just casually walking through the areas. Trainers are way too fucking underleveled and have no pokemon.

OG 151 only is also retarded. I didn't mind the focus on catching though, its kinda fun and the chain system is nice. No breeding/abilities then completely fucking ruin it though.

Super low effort bait

Yeah, the absence of wild battles in favor of spamming one button to throw endless balls is so innovative

Challenging? You have a permanent exp share that you don't even have to battle for and all of your pokemon are in your bag at once. Top it off with easily found candy, a pokeradar that tells you your ivs as you catch, and simple chaining which gives you access to multiples of powerful pokemon makes this the easiest and least innovative game ever made by gamefreak.

Also, trading is garbage, everybody wants shiny competitive meta level pokemon and you'll have to be prepared to sacrifice at least 3 sometimes even 5 of them if you want Mew,Meltan and Melmetal, the fanbase playing this game are that anal about it. There are no cloners and hackers community for it either but Pokefella is selling as usual if you're that desperate.

OP, if I were you I'd wait for SWSH, my brother bought this game so I took full advantage of it netting me shiny legendary birds, mewtwo,snorlax and lapras just because I ran out of shit to do.
