What are some unconventional pokemon you use in monotype?

let me hear about all those crazy choices you use when larping as a gym leader. Show me your claydols in ground and your froslass in ghost. Let it all out and judge other people for their shenanigans. Show us what you got and convince us why basculin is the new meta.

shell smash
scald
ice beam
substitute.

if you can get it in on a support pokemon, you're blowing holes in everything.

so pretty basic except for Gyarados. that also takes people off guard. with intimidate it can set up in the face of pretty much anything that doesn't have a great special attack or an electric one.
