I remember playing Sun when it first came out but I sold it after a day or so because I wasn't feeling it. I kinda regret it so I'm thinking about picking US or UM up to play with my gf. Is it worth playing? I've been hearing mixed things.

As someone who didn't finish moon (stopped on catching lunala) and just finished catching lunala in um, I'd say no, alot of the issues with the originals aren't addressed at all in the sequels, namely all the handholding.

I'd recommend a playthrough if you need it for transferring mons to SnS, like me.

No, only redd*t fags say it's better. It offers nothing new that isn't a reskin of what SM already has, and the story is even worse. The only good things are being able to evolve Charjabug and Crabrawler earlier
