Except not at all. Even if we assume Game Freak could never break away from their weird obsession with maintaining continuity when it comes to evolution and breeding (hence why we get pointless evolutionary items, gimmicks and incenses every other generation), they can still easily do new split cross-gen evolutions like they did with the later Eeveelutions, Gallade, Froslass, etc.

105 HP stat is far from "shit". Its main problem is the typing as you said (2 4x weaknesses, plus Ice, Focus Blast, EQ). And its Sp Def is still rather low even after the boost.

If it had Solid Rock, it would be a tier higher.

There's a shit ton of 1 or 2 stage Pokemon that have BST < 450 that even with Eviolite would end up being like a regular 500BST thing.

If they cared about brokenness they wouldn't have given megas to 600BST pseudolegends, and they would have given proper evolutions to Sableye, Mawile, Manectric, etc. None of those would have been eviolite-broken with an extra evo.
