So I finally got around to binging Best Wishes. And for the most part it was as bad as people said it was.
But no one told me about how it actually gets pretty good starting at around episode 59. Sure it's still not great but it starts to have a bunch of moments that are on par with DP's quality and Ash gets a lot more tolerable.
Taking well over a year to start getting good isn't exactly a point in a shows favor of course but at least Best Wishes had some redeeming qualities.

Also the animation is super smooth which I really like.
