Mawile, Gardevoir, Klefki, Xerneas, Clefairy, and the Tapus are the only fairies that actually fit the type's theme besides being pink and girly.
Everything else is a disappointment.

Slowbro has other stuff going on and doesn’t really line up with the cartoony proportions thing the gen 1 fairies have. I still don’t like that Chansey isn’t one. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Beacuse it isn't magical or fairy-like, it's just and egg monster. None of it's dex entries mention anything magical about it. It's rare because it hunted for it's eggs. People just want it to be fairy because it's pink.

They should give Celebi and the lake trio a move that adds the fairy type to them temporarily, like trick-or-treat but self-targeted. Have it boost stats or something as well to encourage use of it.
