In addition to being incorrectly romanized, the fact that it's meant to get across the meaning of "tail" in Japanese is another reason to make it "teeranar" (or "teirenar"). There's no reason to change the first half of the name to break Japanese grammar conventions and break the conveyance of pronunciation across all languages just to randomly make a reference to a word in English when that word is already being referenced in the name to begin with, in its own native language, without breaking any grammar conventions & while also conveying the correct pronunciation.
