Unova had Adler and Iris as champions, who are Native American. Bianca is the "girl next door" and Cheren is the Asian insert. These are directly inspired from Unova's real world inspiration (America). Kalos had Diantha as champion, a famous aging actor, and all your rivals were white except Shauna, who was middle eastern. Again, like real France. Alola had Native Hawaiian champions and a rival, as well as Gladion being the white kid which is okay because Hawaii has white people too. Galar having so many brown people tells us that the real life Britain is so overswept by immigrants that even in a fantasy setting the typical British person is now not even ethnically British. It's a symptom of a real world problem. While it's okay on it's own (games ARE fiction after all) the fact that this series has always taken inspiration from the real world means that Galar is showing how much the real Britain has changed demographically, and seeing this portrayed through a new perspective is a scary wake up call.
