its literally running on a tablet with a weaker CPU that the current generation of smartphones. the game looks like BOTW (botw looks like shit too people seem to forget that), thats the best the switch is going to do.

I’m still laughing at them. At the very least Sword and Shield look pretty acceptable in towns and all but even in the castle area in Three Houses the game looks like a fucking mess.

The funny thing is that despite Sword and Shield looking like shit in some areas, there hasn’t been one shot of Three Houses that looks remotely good. Three Houses genuinely looks like shovelware and should’ve been scrapped.

breath of the wild looks pretty bad but it has its moments

mario odyssey generally looks decent (though a lot of that comes down to style)

sword and shield and three houses would have looked bad on the wii

Pokemon's edge was that it was portable with great gameplay and a lot of content.

Moving to 3d and a main line console people might expect more than they used to out of it.

It looks like a shittier BOTW except you can't climb anywhere or interact with anything other than encountering wild pokemon and it's only for a small portion of the game.

Also, the map is fucking tiny.
