This is common practice. Reflections are the most taxing thing you can have on a game. You'll be lucky to find PS4 games with proper reflections

That's because like in most games they opted to use an image that approximates the area to act as the reflection instead of rendering the entire world twice for a minor visual flare (switch couldn't handle that either)
