>>38803312Honestly there's enough romhacks out there that you need to specify beyond "good" romhacks. There's plenty of simple difficulty hacks, full dex hacks, or those that go and do their own weird thing. Personally I'm playing Pokemon Pyrite right now, a hack for Crystal that adjusts the level curve and difficulty so I'm actually having to plan my team and think about my fights while still not being a grindfest.
It really depends what you want but if you're shitting on the open world mechanics of the new games like most of the board seems to be right now maybe give Roaming Red a try. It's a hack of Red that opens up the world so levels are based on badges and you can take on the gyms in any order.
