Perhaps not a new evolution, but using an old Pokemon for dynamaxing. Snorlax or Muk would work well.

Corviknight looks more like an antagonist mon, belonging to a rival or some other villain type. Unless it happens to be an evolutionary regional starter bird

Well he has owned Krookodile before, I’d say that looks like an antagonist Pokemon also. I want him to get Corviknight because it’s design is based af and it’ll be wasted on Team Rocket or the evil team of SwSh.

No, he might catch one of the Gen 8 mons in some way, post Alola League, however the last time he went to a new region with more that Pikachu was for Sinnoh.

So I doubt they'll change it up again like that.

He'll not catch a Corviknight, too powerful for him.

The first gym leader uses DynaMax so it would be a good idea for Ash to have a strong pokemon from the start. In fact, all gym master has DynaMax so there is no need to keep Ash team weak to make them look strong.

We're pretty sure Rotom is going to follow Ash to Galar, but it would be interesting to see one of his actual pokemon come back and get a new evolution (possible candidates being Donphan, Torkoal, Buizel, and Hawlucha)
