technically jumpluff is based on the final stage of a dandelion, not cotton (i know its called the cottonweed pokemon tho)

I really like the texture of the cotton but that's about it. The pre evo had a much better color scheme.

well didn't they mention some kind of "gather wool" quest? i think they're trying to add some sort of like "an agrarian society" theme or some kind of light crafting (like get clothes as quest rewards) or some shit. so cotton makes sense. cotton, wool, idk what else. probably not leather.

I don't see why Gossifleur and Eldegoss are an evolutionary, I could easily see Gossifleur being a sort of more tropical looking Flower Pokemon that becomes some sort of bird of paradise flower in its final evolution. Meanwhile Eldegoss could've been the middle form of a Cotton Pokemon that starts out as a simple seedling and by its final evolution has a fully developed body with cotton puffs that would give it shape.

From what I can find that look pretty different to the base form, the colour looks like the Bulb but the shape of the flower is completely different to Cotton Flowers, it looks more like the flower Flabebe carries, what with the five semi-bulbous petals.
