The problem with Gamefreak is that their core staff are just incompetent. This has been the case since Red and Blue and Gold and Silver, G&S Famously where Iwata outpeformed their entire staff in a single fucking day fixing all their shit rewriting the entire game properly.
Look at X and Y and Sun and Moon's programming, literally Yandere Simulator level bad.

Problem is the core programmers are fucking dogshit, probably built a completely fucked terrible broken engine like what they've done for decades and the rest of the staff have to deal with that shit.

Give Pokemon to Monolithsoft already ffs.
