I like Snivy but I never choose it in Unova playthroughs because it's the worst starter option for in-game. I picked it once and was disappointed.

Ditto. Actually my favorite Pokemon, available relatively early in most games, but prior to gen 5 it was so. Fucking. Bad. I replayed Soul Silver not too long ago and I just couldn't get it to work.

At least squishy boy cleans house in Wi-Fi though

Pseudos like Dragonite and TTar, if only the games actually tried to approach the level cap for the endgame rather than having the E4/Champ at or barely above 50s, because it's not worth using the middle evo for the whole game to have barely any time with the final, and even then Dratini, Larvitar, etc are too late in the game to integrate unless you trade over an egg.

Spheal line. To my knowledge it can only be used during the main story of BW2 and the hoenn games, both of those times you have access to so many water types it isn't worth it

This guy is right. One of the better water choices in that game.
I hope they do another game like that again, the limited choices and focus on double battles really made me use some teams I would have never considered in other games. Its refreshing.

For Pokémon like these i always bred a few so i had lv1 versions to use in a new playtrough. Always had a friend available to help me trade, but now with Bank i can just do it myself. I don't bother with the IVs.

You can use the M glitch in Yellow VC to encounter a lv7 Ditto. I used one in my last UM playtrough. Impostor Ditto is really interesting to use ingame, actually.

Houndour and Houndoom. Really crap availability in most of the games. Doesn't appear in GSC until beating the game first and you can't get int HGSS unless messing with the Safari Zone. You can use it in Platinum but it misses both the Grass and Ghost Gym. You could've just used Chimchar or Ponyta instead. Gen 3 was a great chance for it to appear early but sadly you can't get it until the Emerald post game Safari Zone. Mt. Pyre would've fit nicely and it would've also gave you a Dark option for the Psychic Gym.

Same. For my SS play through I just decided to trade him into the game so i could get him earlier. It's hard to decide When to trade certain mons into the game instead of starting out with 6 level 5 pokemon

This shit is why I almost exclusively play on randomizer or I'll inject a bunch of level 5s on my playthroughs now. I don't understand why Glameow and Aipom are such a bitch to have in-game.

Ice types need to become an early game thing. Fairies render them almost obsolete now so it wouldn't be broken to get them early.
