Which, if I'm thinking about this correctly... your Beast type would essentially need to include *everything* in the Field egg group, as well as potentially a fair number of Monster-egg-group 'mons. Just take a look at the Field egg group, and ratio of Normal-types to non-Normal-types in that egg group.
Should Ninetales be Normal-type? What about Dugtrio? Houndoom? Luxray?
