I like it too, tbqh, but I just wish we had full camera control everywhere as opposed to the needless restriction to the Wild Area.

Is there any justifiable reason for GF to restrict such a basic feature like this?

So glad to see someone else calling this out. To me, it looks more like a "purple-ish" filter as opposed to "pinkish" but same difference. How come there is nothing but silence on this visual "feature"? Personally, I prefer it to the sterile, basic colors of the Gen6/7 games, but they definitely could have done better.

No, there’s overworks and random encounters but random encounters work different in that instead of running through tall grass aimlessly there’ll be a ! Mark pop up and that’s where you go to trigger a battle

It’s the best of both worlds and I’m honestly impressed
