I think the Sword and Shield anime will still be comedy focused, shilling dynamax by showing cutesy mons like Pikachu and Scorbunny growing gigantic is hard to take seriously.

This. I'm expecting them to keep the same kind of artstyle to SM for Galar even. As for the Dynamax mechanic, they already teased that, with showing off a Togedemaru the size of the Pokémon school, before it shrunk before the end of the scene.
