people don't seem to be talking about it but there is a new rotom form, possibly a camera to record battles, in the new pokemon sword and shield trailer

I'm actually very glad that Rotom Pokedex is a permanent trend, because a pokemon capable of possessing electronics really should have important ramifications for human civilization and the subsequent ability for a Pokedex to also be a Pokemon itself is a very big deal for human/pokemon relations.

It's just solid world building.
