Game Freak didn't look into deving for spybox/sóystation tier hardware, as they were always going to be making Pokémon games for the Nintendo handheld de jour, which was always a potato, compared to the current Nintendo home system of the time and of the gaming industry in general. Suddenly Game Freak have been given a console that absolutely obliterates 3DS for power and for what they want to do, yet suddenly retards like yourself somehow think they should be able to pull a home-console tier game out their arses because "they're making games long enough" Companies don't just fuck money away on hiring staff because some autist in buttfuck nowhere USA is going to get assblasted his entry-level RPG doesn't look like the prettiest entry-level RPG game ever. And a company as careful with its product as Game Freak are (have to be, when the biggest multi-media franchise is counting on your studio to keep its lifeblood flowing), they're going to do thing the "right" way, and learn by trial-and-error in-house and away from the golden goose, before attempting that shit in Pokémon.
